autumn winter trends to buy now

OK so this isn't a complete exhaustive list of predicted autumn winter trends, BUT I thought a starter for ten would be helpful in case you're feeling like me - really fancying some new clothes but wanting to make sure they work for next season. We’re busy modern women - we need our wardrobe to work hard for us after all, and we don’t want pieces that will be worn for the next fortnight then gathering dust until next year. That’s just silly.

BRIGHTS - is this the time that we’re all finally wearing exciting, colourful clothes after freedom? It’s got to come soon hasn’t it. There’s so much cobalt blue, red, orange, pink and yellow about, embrace the rainbow I say.

PEEKABOO - I think this might be a bit of a marmite trend but showing a sneaky bit of flesh is going to be everywhere soon. While I appreciate we may not all be midriff-barers, showing a bit of shoulder or back is very elegant indeed.

FLORALS - ‘florals for spring…groundbreaking’ but what about florals for autumn eh Miranda?! I bet that’s got you. While there’s still a lot of 70s style prints in the shops, it’s going to make way for a more chintzy floral as we head into autumn

BAGGY JEANS - don’t mind me, I’ve only been going on about the death of the skinny for months now. Baggy jeans are a big prediction for next season but try a more slim Mom or straight leg if baggy feels like a step too far for you.

MINI SKIRTS - my leggy friends rejoice, it’s finally time to flash your pins. They never really went ‘out’ in my opinion but it’ll be fab to see some different shapes and materials to choose from.
